Abby, we love you too!

Abby is such a character seriously she is FUN-NY! You just sort of have to be around her to see her personality at work but there is LOTS of personality at work FOR SURE! She's saying tons of words right now, and it's so fun to hear her little voice try out new words for example she says (along with the usuals, mom, dad etc):
Biaper (diaper)and actually we think she's close to potty training--no kidding.
Elmo
Rain
Daisy and Dad (Bad) Dog-coincidentally one in the same
Door
Jes (yes) channeling her latin roots with that word
Baby
Joos (Juice)
Cat and Meow
Jump
GOOOOOOO (always with lots of enthusiasm)
Down
Done
Flower
Turtle
Quack quack (for a duck)
Choo choo (for a train)
Cracker
Na na (banana)
oosh(shoes)
Fish
Dye dye (bye bye) with a wave of course
I You-which means I love you or it's "Yuh you" and will even blow a kiss
She is an instigator of many a fight with her brother and they can get fairly violent pretty quickly (when I say violent I mean some hitting and throwing of toys, yes it's true she is a bit of a diva). She is one tough chick-a and won't put up with any guff from her brother. But she also knows how to play it so he gets in trouble and she gets off scott free, I am learning her little tactics though and try not to let her get away with them.

She's going through a clingy stage which is both good and bad...The good is I get to hold and kiss on and squeeze and love my baby a little bit more, the bad is I don't get any freedom to do anything by myself! Along with that she's going through a serious dislike of Alex stage. Not too sure what that's about. But the combination is not working out so great for me!

She is one passionate little girl. She won't sit in her booster chair at the table, she MUST sit on the chair, even though she's not quite tall enough but she works it out. She also insists on feeding herself and has to have a spoon or a fork for everything.

She likes to unload all the spoons from the dishwasher and put them on the table. She also likes to help with laundry, she'll hand me all the clothes to put in the washer and then will help put them in the dryer and then pull them out of the dryer. She is a great help in picking up toys, she knows where everything goes and puts things back exactly as they were.

She likes carrying a little plastic make up bag as a purse and what do you think the purse has in it? Cars! Sorry Grammie!

She loves to look at books with animals she loves animals. We have a little lizard that hangs out in the back yard and Abby gets so excited when she see's it. She gets up so close to it and hunches over and shouts 'Zizzard! Zizzard'! And tries to grab it, I'd hate to know the consequences for the lizard if she ever did actually get a hold of it!

She shakes her head no for everything even though most of the time she means 'jes'.

And she has a serious attachment to her blankie! And often turns to it for comfort and not her own mother :o(

She loves to sit...wherever she can, she loves little kid chairs or rocking chairs, benches, window sills, pillows, heads (if you happen to be laying on the ground or the couch) she recently figured out how to climb on the couch and is pretty proud of herself for that accomplishment.

She loves to dance (spin in circles) and bop her head up and down to the music.

She loves to be loved!

This parenting thing is quite the roller coaster ride and it seems the rules change on a daily basis. It is interesting trying to parent two very different personalities and dispositions. But I'm very grateful to experience this ride with these two crazy kids of mine!
