Our Happy Easter

Our Easter went something like this:
Woke up and found the Easter bunny paid us a visit!
Ethan and Abby (and maybe me)ate some candy and Abby spit some out (I did not).
Dyed some Eggs
Ate French Toast for brunch.
Got as much dinner ready as possible. (church is from 2:30-5:30 which means we don't get home til 6pm-which means we're all starving by the time we get home which means we try to do a lot of prep beforehand).
Got our best Eastery dud's on.
Abby and Ethan looked adorable.
Rushed to church (we're always rushing to church, even if it is at 2:30)
Snapped a couple quick photos outside of church.
Enjoyed church
Rushed home to eat.
Kids immediately put on P.J.'s
Ate. A lot.
Hid Eggs and then hunted for them, twice (with kids in their PJ's).
Said bye to Grandma and Grandpa and Alicia (for the time being).
Put the kids to bed.
Alex and Kelli tried to watch a movie but ended up falling asleep about 2 min. in.
The End.

I was explaining why we celebrate Easter to Ethan and he listened intently, and at the end of me talking, summed it up like this: "Yay Jesus!" Yes, Yay for Jesus!

Basket full of goodies for Abby

I know her hair's a mess and she has her brother's T-shirt on and she's not smiling but for some reason, I LOVE this picture.

Give this kid an M&M and he'll love you forever!

The finished product. Abby had a unique way of doing it, she would just sort of throw the egg into the cup. So...that was fun...for her.

Note to self, don't make the kids look into the sun while trying to take a good picture. Also don't try to snap some "good" shots while trying to rush in to church. But aren't they cute holding hands and everything?

Thanks Grammie for the Easter outfits-they really did look SO adorable (You can sort of see Abby's little purse).

On the hunt...

And last but not least our cute neice, Alicia.

All in all a great Easter Sunday!
