The Beach

We hit the beach this week and had a blast! Sure the water's brown and gross...and maybe there's seaweed everywhere...and yes there were weird blue bubbly thingys and a dead fish on the beach...and yeah, OK so...the restaurant we ate at smelled really REALLY stinky...and what if Alex had to do a little bit of work for a mean, old, rich lady...

Yeah it could've been bad...and yet we still had a good time. It was nice to do something fun as a family and the weather was beeeeeaaauuuutiful and just an all around great afternoon!

Yeah, she needs a swimsuit, although I think this look is pretty darn adorable.

Notice the dead fish in the background? It took Abby a while to work up the courage to play in the water, I think it sort of freaked her out when the water would come in and then go out and the sand would wash away beneath her feet. But once she got used to that, she was splashing and jumping and running and playing.
