Happy Turkey Day! We started the day off with going to Houston's Thanksgiving Day Parade, little did we know that it was going to be so crowded! So we didn't have the BEST seats ever but it was still fun and Ethan loved to see all the bands, horses, big balloons and of course all the cars and trucks.
They had quite a few big balloons in the parade, like Nemo, Spongebob, the Chronicle Dog, and a big happy sunshine! Almost like NYC and Macy's O.K. probably not even close, but I was still pretty impressed.
Ethan with Alex's Texans hat on, he thought he was SO cool! I'm pretty sure he had the best view of the parade from Dad's shoulders.
And of course the parade ended with Santa. He's pretty high up on that float-hopefully Santa's not afraid of heights!
Actually I take that back, Santa didn't end the parade, no, no no. It was "Pancho Claus" in his zoot suit and low rider (complete with hydraulics) and everything that ended the parade! ONLY in Texas! Then we came home for a quick nap and went of to Alex's mom's for a wonderful feast of turkey and all the fixin's and most importantly pumpkin pie! It was a GREAT Thanksgiving and we have a LOT to be thankful for! Hope you had a great day too!
